“Soundscapes of the Future City”
Grab a blank canvas tote, pick a New York landmark, and paint it — someone from our team is right there if you want a hand, and it’s yours to keep. Kids dive in, grown-ups end up painting too, and there’s a REALM architecture display to wander through while everything dries. Free, all ages, no experience needed.

No ticket, no sign-up. Look for the REALM tent and the painted box tower on the street.

Manhattan dates run along Park Avenue between Grand Central and 110th St; the Brooklyn date runs along Eastern Parkway (Grand Army Plaza–Buffalo Ave). The exact booth spot is assigned by the organizer and announced the week of the event.
What is Summer Streets?
Every August, New York clears the cars off its biggest avenues and hands the streets back to people — walking, biking, running, and, with us, painting. It’s the city’s largest free open-streets day, and we set up right on Park Avenue.
