REBOOT addresses the plastic water bottle as one of the clearest artifacts of contemporary life: lightweight, disposable, globally distributed, and nearly impossible to make disappear. Begun in 1987, the project approaches plastic waste not simply as an environmental problem, but as an ethical and architectural one. Rather than treating the bottle as refuse, REBOOT reconsiders it as matter capable of transformation through connection, repetition, and assembly.
